Tribute to Celia Peiris
This tribute is dedicated to Celia Bernice Peiris (nee Fernando) born on November 15th 1924 and sadly passed away on 25th March 2020.
Wife of the late Dr. Rienzie Peiris. Mother of Dinali Perera, Sharmini Fernando and the late Dr. Roshini Alles. Grandmother of Rajiv, Shanik, Ashni, Ruvin, Anouki and Santoshi. Great-Grandmother of Roman.
Celia was always devoted and supportive of her family. She will always be remembered.

Aunty Celia was a gracious and caring lady. In the early 70’s, she used to drive Dinali, Indira, Nilima and myself to our accounting classes and to our workplace. She was always with a smile. Aunty Celia, Uncle Rienzie, Dinali, Roshini and Sharmini welcomed us into their beautiful home and made us feel as family. May her soul rest in peace. Much love, Cissy

Celia was always such a vibrant person. She was incredibly capable able to turn her hand to everything from dressmaking to fabulously grand dinners. All done with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Chatting to her in January she still had a beaming smile, twinkling eyes and was very engaged. We wish Dinali, Sharmini and all the family peace and happy memories. With love Rob and Michelle x
